He all but confirmed it, John.
At a South Carolina rally broadcast live on Newsmax TV — that’s Fox News for your crazy uncle’s crazy uncle — Donald Trump said it:
“We are going to take back America. And in 2024, we are going to take back that beautiful, beautiful White House [cheers]. I wonder who will do that? I wonder...”
I won’t spill any more ink over what a disaster a second Trump term would be for our country. You know that already, and just as importantly, we have a job to do first.
So, I have to ask:
Can you rush a $10 donation to my campaign today so that we never, ever have to see Trump in the White House again? If we keep our House Majority — and keep Kevin McCarthy out of the Speaker’s Office — we have a chance to stop Trump in 2024:

Trump understands that he can’t announce his presidential campaign before the midterms — the House Majority will be decided in exactly the kind of battleground suburban districts where his brand is completely toxic, the ones that rejected him in Democrats’ Blue Wave election in 2018.
So instead, he’s making his intentions clear through winks and nods and just enough distance for Kevin McCarthy and House Republicans to hide their support for him while they try to persuade voters to trust them again. But there’s no hiding their true ambition:
Defeat Democrats. Destabilize democracy. And pave the way for Republicans to take back the White House in 2024.
You know the difference between keeping our country and losing it could be whether Kevin McCarthy is the one holding the gavel the next time Congress has to certify the results of a presidential election.
I’m personally asking: Can you chip in $10 towards my fight for our democracy, and against Trump’s Republican Party, and to defend our House Majority?

Trump’s vanity is well-documented. But there is nothing that would cause more direct and immediate harm to our democratic experiment than having a Trump sycophant like Kevin McCarthy as House Speaker standing in the way of our progress.
Let’s leave nothing to chance. Thanks for pitching in what you can.
