Whether you’re a liberal, conservative, or somewhere in between, we need folks from across the political spectrum to defend our Constitution, the rule of law, and our democracy. This is true now more than ever.

That’s why I’m heading to Wyoming next week for an event with Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY), who has become a national figure over the last year for her courageous defense of our democracy and her willingness to put country over party in the name of doing what’s right.

Issue One is teaming up with a bipartisan group of Wyoming citizens to host a frank conversation with Rep. Cheney on protecting our elections and defending our Constitution — and I hope you’ll join us.

As you may know, Cheney was one of 10 House Republicans to vote to impeach Trump on charges that he incited the January 6 storming of the U.S. Capitol with false claims of a stolen election.

She is the vice chair of the bipartisan House select committee conducting an investigation of the January 6 attack on the U.S capitol.

She regularly bucks her own political party and pushes back on election disinformation.
