Donald Trump calls Vladimir Putin a “genius.” – “So smart.”

After Russia attacked our elections in 2016, Trump stood next to Putin and told the world that he believed Putin over the American intelligence community.

When Congress approved military aid for Ukraine to fight back against Russia, Donald Trump told President Zelensky in a now-infamous phone call that he just needed “a favor” first.

And what did senior Republicans like Mitch McConnell and my opponent Chuck Grassley do or say in response? Nothing.

Now, suddenly, with Putin sending tanks, warplanes, and cruise missiles capable of leveling entire apartment buildings into Ukraine… Chuck Grassley wants to act tough on Russia. I’m sorry, but where were you before?

As a three-star admiral with over 36 years of service in the U.S. Navy, I’d be the most senior military person ever-elected to Congress. Meanwhile, my opponent Chuck Grassley is still supporting a twice-impeached president who probably can’t even find Ukraine on a map.

If I defeat Chuck Grassley this November, Democrats are guaranteed to hold onto our Senate majority. And the polls show we can win. Grassley’s approval ratings here in Iowa are now lower than they’ve EVER been.

But Trump has already come to campaign for Grassley in Iowa, and McConnell is raising millions into Super PACs to try to stop me. We need to raise $20,000 before midnight tonight if we have a chance of fighting back, and right now, we’re still dangerously short.

I’m counting on grassroots donors like you to give right now if we’re going to defeat Chuck Grassley and turn Iowa blue in ‘22.
