Voters in North Carolina deserve a fair map. In 2018, Republicans secured 77% of the congressional seats -- but only won 51% of votes.

That's why a panel of judges decided that the gerrymandered North Carolina map couldn't be used in the 2020 elections, and that new maps had to be drawn.

But Republicans drew new maps, and they are STILL gerrymandered.

We think it's time for new, fair maps in North Carolina -- and in every state. But we want to know what people in D.C. think.

Republicans enacted a new map that effectively gives the party eight of the state's 13 congressional seats instead of the 10 it had before.

These new maps were drawn to continue to give an advantage to Republicans. That means they are still gerrymandered -- plain and simple.

Courts overturned the maps because they gave an unfair, partisan advantage. We need to end gerrymandering nationwide and put an end to partisan maps.
