Now that we're well into the runoff, I wanted to send along an update on the big momentum we've been gaining for our Criminal District Attorney campaign.
I’m honored to announce that we've earned the endorsement of Tarrant County Sheriff Bill Waybourn.
As District Attorney, I will work closely with Sheriff Waybourn to fight crime and uphold law and order.
Conservative voters chose Bill to enforce the law here in Tarrant County, and now Sheriff Waybourn has chosen who he wants to see as his colleague in the Criminal District Attorney’s office.
Here is what Sheriff Waybourn had to say:
“I have known Matt for the better part of a decade. He is a man of tremendous character, unwavering integrity, and has spent his time in the legislature working to make Tarrant County safer.
"Matt is the Law and Order candidate for District Attorney, he has a proven record advocating for law enforcement, fighting to secure our southern border, reforming our bail system to keep dangerous criminal behind bars, and cracking down on human trafficking.
"I will be joining others within law enforcement community in casting my vote for Matt Krause for Tarrant County District Attorney.”
This runoff election is important for Tarrant County. Please talk with your family, friends and neighbors and make them aware of the stakes and make sure they plan to vote (Early Voting starts May 16th and Election Day is May 24th).
