People in Washington's 8th District and across the country are feeling the pinch at the gas pump and in the grocery store – while gas and oil companies are making record profits. Putin’s illegal invasion of Ukraine has driven up gas prices even more.
Kim knows something has to be done. That's why she's taking action by introducing legislation to suspend the federal gas tax until January 1, 2023 to help lower gas costs for people across the country.
