I’ll get right to it, john: At this critical moment, CNN is calling me and my friends Catherine Cortez Masto (NV), Maggie Hassan (NH), and Mark Kelly (AZ) the most vulnerable Senate Democrats up for reelection. Let me explain why this is so concerning:
With the Senate split 50-50, Republicans need to flip just one seat to retake Senate control for Mitch McConnell. Voting rights, affordable health care, climate justice – everything we care about is on the line this November, and unless we defend each and every Democratic Senate seat, our majority and any hope at passing our bold agenda will be impossible.
That’s why I’m urgently writing to you today. If we’re going to reelect Catherine, Maggie, Mark, and me, we need to build the strongest grassroots movement this country has ever seen – we have zero room for error. Please, john, will you give $5 or more right now to power our grassroots movements forward so we can keep the Senate blue? [[link removed]]
Ever since Democrats took back the Senate last year, we’ve taken huge steps to rebuild our country – from providing pandemic relief to struggling families to creating millions of good-paying jobs. And I know this is just the beginning of our progress.
But GOP super PACs are flooding each of our states with MILLIONS to turn our seats red, retake Senate control for Mitch McConnell, and block our bold agenda. With the election year now in full swing, we don’t have a second to spare when it comes to building up the resources we need to fight back and win.
Please, john, will you give $5 or $10 right now to help defend our crucial Democratic Senate seats, protect our razor-thin majority, and keep making progress for the American people? [[link removed]]
Thank you for your grassroots support, john. It means the world.
– Sen. Raphael Warnock
