My fellow Democrats,
I'm Janet Garret, former candidate for Congress in OH-04. When my home in Lorain County was part of Jim Jordan‘s district, I ran against him three times, so I know exactly what Jeff is up against — and I know he can win.
I am writing to you because there is a five-alarm fire going on in America and we need to rise up and put it out! The Republican party has become the party of anti-democracy and liars.
Jim Jordan is at the forefront of that effort. He has so far escaped responsibility for his role in enabling the abuse of student wrestlers at The Ohio State University. While in Congress he has not introduced a single piece of legislation that would benefit the people in his district. Republican Speaker John Boehner called him a "legislative terrorist." To what extent he was involved in the January 6th insurrection is still under investigation. What is crystal clear is that he is promoting THE BIG LIE and undermining our democracy in the process. We can stop him.

I hear people bashing Biden for not coming through on all of his agenda in his first year in office. I want Biden to succeed too! We have to remember how our government works and that with a razor-thin majority in Congress, Biden can only do so much. It's our job, as voters, to send him more support.
I am asking you to do EVERYTHING you can to help Jeff Sites take Jordan's seat in Congress. Jeff served our country in the military, something that takes patriotism, courage, and commitment. Jim Jordan didn't do that! Jeff is a working man. He understands working people and how our government has failed us on so many levels: health care, education, infrastructure (although Biden did get a huge Bill passed to help with that), voting rights, support for women, children, and minorities.
I have some specific asks for you:

Donate to Jeff's campaign. Every penny will be used to get word to as many voters as possible so that they understand their choice. Donate once or make a weekly donation between now and the primary in May. That would be even more helpful.

- Invite Jeff's campaign to come to your house to do a house party. You invite your friends, neighbors, and coworkers, whoever you think needs to hear the message, and provide some light refreshment. Jeff will come if his schedule allows or the campaign will send a surrogate. Reply to this email if you're interested.
- Be a volunteer with the campaign, either making phone calls, knocking on doors, or both. You can get involved here.
