This evening, I’m hosting a Voting Rights Forum to discuss the many challenges voters in our state will face in the 2020 election.
After we learned that Georgia plans to purge 300,000 more voter registrations, I knew we had to take action.
So we’re launching a 2020 Voter Protection Fund to make sure we have the resources to reach every voter and counteract the rampant voter suppression in our state.

Right now, our race is ranked one of the Top 10 House contests of 2020 – a “toss-up” by any standard. But back when I ran in 2018, GA-7 wasn’t on anyone’s radar, let alone a “top 10” list.
Thanks to grassroots supporters like you, we closed the gap in this bright-red district and came within 433 votes of flipping it blue last year – all despite egregious voter suppression efforts from Brian Kemp and Georgia Republicans.
This time, we know what to expect. We know that if we’re going to finish the job of flipping GA-7 blue in 2020, we need to gather our resources now to fight voter suppression.
Here in Georgia's 7th, that means making sure people have the resources and knowledge they need to fight back against attempts to suppress the vote and make sure that our whole team (including you!) are voting rights experts!
