John,
My life has been defined by two guiding principles: to be the best father and husband I can be, and to try to make a difference every chance I get.
These two principles were crucial to me in 2015 when my 24-year-old daughter, Alison Parker, a journalist, was shot and killed on live television. I had a choice to retreat into my grief or to honor Alison’s life through action. I chose the latter. After Alison’s death, I fought back against the social media giants profiting from my family’s tragedy.
As I’ve worked to uphold my daughter’s legacy, I’ve watched Congressman Bob Good, embrace dangerous misinformation and spread conspiracy theories that led to the January 6 insurrection at our nation’s Capitol. I knew that his reckless disregard for the truth was a threat to our democracy, and I knew I had to do something about it. That’s why I’m running to represent Virginia’s 5th congressional district.
I am committed to solving problems, not creating them. But to get to Congress and fight for Virginia families the way I fight for my own, I need serious resources. I’m asking you today to contribute to become a founding donor and get our campaign off to a strong start.

Bob Good is Virginia’s version of Marjorie Taylor Greene. I don’t want, and I know the people of central and Southside Virginia don’t want a disreputable grifter masquerading as their congressman. I want to restore decency, integrity, and common-sense leadership to the job.
I am running for Congress to hold big tech accountable, bring jobs back to the district, promote and preserve voting rights, and so much more. It would mean so much to me if you could become a founding donor of our campaign with a contribution of any amount today.

I look forward to working together to bring our communities the representation we deserve.
Thanks so much,
Andy
