Happy March Madness, friend!

In case you missed it: Josh stopped by the Sports Shop Radio Show in Raleigh this week to talk about what he’s been up to in the AG’s office — and, as an added bonus, reveal his March Madness bracket (👀 the end of this email to see at who he has winning it all).

On the show, Josh spoke about how North Carolina’s share of the $26 billion opioid settlement agreement that he helped negotiate must be spent and that it will begin flowing into local communities in the second quarter of 2022.

This is huge news because now is when the important work begins. It's imperative that our state and local leaders use these funds effectively for evidence-based prevention, treatment, harm reduction and recovery services, as required by the settlement.

Folks, we’re proud of the progress Josh and his team have been able to achieve for the people of North Carolina — but know that it couldn’t have been possible without the help of folks like you.

This is a moment to build on the progress we’ve already made and keep pushing forward. Please consider chipping in to support the work we’re doing to get justice for people across North Carolina >> [[link removed]]
