You can’t ignore this, folks: New video footage shows that Madison Cawthorn called into right-wing commentator Charlie Kirk’s show during the attack on our Capitol and admitted to transporting weapons and arming people around him.

Jasmine has said from the beginning that Cawthorn displays all the signs of a young man radicalized and should resign immediately for his role in the January 6th insurrection. If he refuses to, we have to ensure he is defeated at the ballot box in November.

Western North Carolina deserves better than a Congressman who rallies up insurrectionists, expresses ongoing regret that he was not able to execute a coup, and repeatedly implies that there will be political bloodshed over future elections if he and his allies on the fringes of the far-right don’t get their way.
