Do you remember the feeling of sitting in a ballroom next to other passionate progressives and listening to an inspiring speaker? There’s nothing quite like it.
That’s why I'm so excited to get away from my screen to help run Arena Academy Phoenix in-person from May 4-8. I can't wait to feel the powerful energy of a room full of people learning to strengthen our democracy.
With the midterms just eight months away, gathering in-person to connect and energize ourselves for the big fights ahead is just what we need.
Do you know someone who’s eager to break into politics this cycle or already making an impact in their community and would like to boost their skills?

Past Academy graduates are welcome to apply again to take a new track.
Applications take about 15 minutes to complete. You’ll need to upload your resume and provide a short written statement (500 words) or a short video (not highly produced) sharing why you want to attend Academy. There’s no cost to apply, and if accepted we’ll let you know if you’ve been awarded a scholarship.
The in-person Academy will be an opportunity to connect in ways so many of us have been missing over the last two years. We’ll get to meet face-to-face, spend time together at happy hours, connect with employers at in-person job fairs, and so much more.
