With Democrats controlling Congress and the White House, we’re closer than ever to transitioning to a green economy that creates clean energy jobs, expands access to clean energy, and reduces our national emissions.

The Bipartisan Infrastructure Framework was a good first step. But here’s the thing: If we don’t pass serious legislation to reduce emissions, our dependency on foreign oil imports, and fossil fuel extraction, we might miss our chance completely.

That’s why we must pass real climate legislation now, while we have a Democrat in the White House who takes it seriously. We need legislation that transitions us to a green economy that works for everyone – especially our planet.
