Now that Session is behind us, I do want to step back a bit to talk about what we did and did not accomplish for the people of Florida. Because the truth is, while we did some great work, the Republican Majority’s focus on hyper-partisan culture war issues like “Don’t Say Gay” and “Stop WOKE Act” prevented us from doing ANYTHING concrete to address:



❌ Rising prices we’re paying at the pump
❌ The Affordable Housing Crisis
❌ Skyrocketing Property Insurance Rates
❌ The Fight Against Climate Change



The reality of a 60-day legislative session is that there’s only so much time to get anything done. House Republicans heard virtually NO legislation during our six committee weeks because they were too focused on their personal fundraising.



We MUST hold them accountable for their inaction on these important issues. They will go home and blame President Biden, but the reality is that they didn’t do their part to make the situation any better.
