I wanted to make sure you saw the email from my team on Friday. Last week, the Cook Political Report downgraded my race from Lean Democrat to a Toss-up, showing what we’ve been saying all along: this will be one of the most competitive races in the country.
So, while I have been working for you all in Congress, the GOP has been getting ready to try and take our seat.
We cannot let that happen.
Re-election will be hard, but with you on the team, I know we will defeat any challenger.
