Tonight, the Ohio Democratic Party endorsed Chelsea Clark for Secretary of State. Let me tell you why.

I have often said “elections have consequences,” and sadly, over the last four years, we have seen how disastrous a bad Secretary of State is for Ohio.

But, that’s all about to change.

Today, I want to tell you why I am so excited about Chelsea Clark and ask you to join Ohio Democrats in supporting her with a contribution.

Black women have always been an important economic engine for Ohio. They have been the driving force of growth for years, but are especially important as we come out of this pandemic.

As a successful entrepreneur, Chelsea knows how to solve problems and overcome the odds. She has proven it time and time again. From growing up as a sixth generation farmer, to finding funding to launch her business, and now running for Secretary of State, Chelsea has torn down every barrier put in front of her.

Chelsea’s experience and drive is exactly what Ohio needs right now. It’s critical for us to grow businesses right here in Ohio. It is also critical we undo all the walls being built between voters and the ballot box.

Chelsea is the right woman for the job and we need her right now.
