Hello! I'm Christy's political director, and I wanted to reach out directly because it's my favorite season – ❁❀ spring ❀❁ – and that means it's canvass time!

I've been working for Christy for nearly 3 years, and let me tell you, she's one of the hardest working women in politics I know. Her commitment to the dignity of working people, to women's and LGBTQ+ equity, to high quality education for all, and to the values of justice and democracy is fierce and unwavering.

That's why I wanted to reach out now because this is such a critical moment in Christy's race. Now is when we launch some of our biggest volunteer events to start hitting the doors and organizing phone banks all across the district.

Voter outreach and field organizing is what wins elections, but it takes money and a lot of bandwidth to make sure we can reach voters everywhere. We need clipboards, we need campaign literature, we need yard signs, and we need a lot of organizers to train volunteers in all corners of the district.

You all know by now how close last cycle's race was – but I'll mention it again – because it was just 333 votes.

We cannot leave one single voter behind. Not in a race as close as this one, and certainly not in a race that's one of the few toss-up districts in the country.

And we're committed to talking to everyone we can.

We're talking to commuters and gig-economy workers who can't afford to fill up their tanks to get to work.

We're talking to parents and teachers who are reeling from the tremendous burden the pandemic has placed on them and their children.

We're talking to young and new voters about issues that impact them the most: gun legislation, climate change, housing, and the absurdly high cost of an education.

We're talking to frontline workers fed up with stagnant wages and a higher cost of living.

We're talking to everyone. It's not only how this campaign is going to win, it's the right thing to do. It's why Christy is running and why she needs your help.
