Gov. Kim Reynolds Launches Reelection Bid in Iowa
Per Des Moines Register:
Republican Iowa Gov. Kim Reynolds launched her campaign for reelection
this week, promising in her announcement to ensure that the Hawkeye
State will remain a xxxxxx against the Democrats in Washington, D.C. in
her second term. Gov. Reynolds: "With a victory in November, we can
ensure that Iowa remains a beacon of freedom, liberty and unlimited
prosperity."
Inflation Hits ANOTHER Record High Under Biden
Per Fox Business:
Inflation
rose 7.9% in February, hitting a new 40-year high in large part due to
skyrocketing gas prices. While Russia's invasion of Ukraine is a large
contributor to price increases, inflation was already increasing at a
rapid pace before Putin's decision to invade thanks to high spending
under President Biden.
Democrats Fight Against Energy Independence
Per Daily Caller:
House Democrats this week struck down a GOP-led initiative to restart
the Keystone XL pipeline, remove restrictions on natural gas exports,
and restart the oil and gas leasing program amid an energy crisis fueled
by Russia's invasion of Ukraine and President Biden's own policies.
Rep. Dan Crenshaw: "Surely (President Joe Biden) knows we can also
boost domestic production right here at home. Surely he knows that
domestic production supports American jobs."
