Friend, On this week’s Out in Front with Annette we’re getting fired up about the future of the cannabiz in Nevada. We go live tomorrow, March 17th, at 5:00PM! Think of it as our way to 'go green' for St. Patrick's Day... After marijuana was legalized in 2017, a number of dispensaries popped up around the state — primarily owned by white men — while many people of color remained incarcerated for cannabis-related offenses prior to decriminalization. While many organizations work within our state to uplift women, specifically women of color, in the cannabis industry, there is still so much work to do to approach equity and justice in the field. Join us for a conversation on the future of the cannabis industry and decriminalization this THURSDAY at 5:00pm, with President of the Cannabis Equity and Inclusion Coalition (CEIC), Asia Duncan, Executive Director of the Nevada Cannabis Association, Layke Martin, President and Owner of Black Joy Consulting, A’Esha Goins, and Chief People Officer of Thrive Cannabis Marketplace, Angie Rodriguez-Smith! We hope we’ll see you there,
