Earlier this month, Inside Elections released their ratings of our race, and they are saying that this election is only lean Democratic.

This is a great sign – but 2022 will be one of the most competitive elections in years, and political pundits are all saying that Maine is going to be a close race.

Over the past three years, Janet Mills has expanded health care, made historic investments in our schools, and fought climate change. But Paul LePage is going to do everything he can to take Maine backwards – and this new race rating shows that we can’t take our early momentum for granted.
