John
Like you, Cindy and I have been praying for the people of Ukraine and asking how we can continue to help. We lift them up in prayer every day--asking for peace and protection. But we also want to utilize the platform we have to promote good during this very troubling time. We usually come here to ask for financial support for what we're doing to fight for our Oklahoma values the right way. We are always incredibly grateful for all that you have given--your time, your prayers, and your gifts.
Today, we are asking for your support for the people of Ukraine. If you can give, we are providing credible non-profits that are on the ground in Ukraine helping the more than 2.5 million refugees with shelter, food, clothing, and medical care.
This is not all of the places you can help, but your gifts are powerful to the people of Ukraine. Here are a few organizations that are providing emergency assistance right now in Ukraine or in the surrounding countries that are accepting Ukrainian refugees:
Donate To Samaritan's Purse ([link removed])
Samaritan's Purse was started by Rev. Franklin Graham. They are in Ukraine and are in need of assistance for their emergency field hospital outside of Lviv, Ukraine.
Donate To Red Cross ([link removed])
The American Red Cross is committed to providing lifesaving aid to Ukraine. They have reported that they have already distributed more than 90,000 food and hygiene parcels to families across Ukraine; delivered more than 32 tons of food, blankets, medicine, medical supplies, trauma kits and household items; assisted with the evacuation of people with disabilities; and much more.
Donate To Salvation Army ([link removed])
The Salvation Army is providing emergency food and housing, counselling, transportation and other essentials for the people impacted by the crisis in Ukraine and bordering countries in central Europe.
We thank you for your prayerful consideration to give, but above all else, we know that we have a God that can conquer all things--there is nothing too big or small. We know our prayers are just as vital.
We thank you for your support and your prayers for Ukraine.
In God We Trust,
James and Cindy Lankford
