Friend - You're invited to Keystone Courage 2022! This year, we’re honoring two people who exemplify courage, among an entire community of gun violence prevention advocates who are brave and powerful every day. We hope you’ll join us on Tuesday, May 3rd at 6 PM for this celebration. This year, our event will be held at Lilah, a brand new space never experienced before by the public. This restaurant space, created by the James Beard award-winning owners of Zahav, will be an incredible experience for the donors and advocates of our work. Our two honorees for this year have made a real difference, and they inspire so many more to speak the truth about their experiences and hold those in power accountable. State Senator Vincent Hughes, who is being honored with the Keystone Courage Award this year, has tirelessly advocated for state funds to advance community violence prevention solutions. To date, he has been a part of securing $45 million to fund community organizations across the Commonwealth. Nancy Gordon, an original founding member of CeaseFirePA, will be receiving the Lighting the Way Award for her advocacy in this space spanning decades. For more than 20 years, CeaseFirePA has brought Pennsylvanians together to end gun violence. We’re building on that legacy because this is a fight we cannot lose. |
