You did it! You made it possible for AWP to announce our next endorsee!
Today, I am proud to announce A Woman's Place’s second endorsement for the 2022 election year – Congresswoman Lucy McBath from (GA-06) .
You might already know about Lucy from our candidate highlight series earlier this month. Her journey towards a life of public service began after her teenage son became a victim of gun violence. Since then, she has dedicated herself to protecting families across the nation. From her compassion to her strength, she is the living embodiment of why we need more women in office .

Leaning into her personal experience, Lucy continues to use her position to push for comprehensive gun control laws, affordable health care access for women and families, and a government that works to protect those it serves.
That’s why we need your support . Our new endorsed candidates need to build the resources necessary to overcome the systemic obstacles it takes to win. They will need to communicate with voters online, expand their teams, get their messages out, and counter every attack thrown at them.
That's why today I am asking you to join me with a contribution of $25, $50, $100, $250, or whatever you can to help us support women like Lucy and Lauren in races across the country. AWP is on a mission to double our number of endorsements this cycle but we need to raise another $63,654 to make it happen. [[link removed]]

The contemporary political landscape is filled with progressive women who are running for elected office up and down the ballot, who possess a true vision of equality for this country's future. A Woman's Place seeks to support their efforts by providing financial resources to embrace this tongue-in-cheek idea of what a woman's place should be.
We help put women where they belong: positions of political leadership throughout all levels of government.
