Yesterday, President Biden reauthorized the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA). The bill strengthens efforts to prevent domestic and sexual violence and protect survivors. VAWA is important to the health and well-being of LGBTQ people, who face high rates of domestic and sexual violence.
Our new infographic summarizes recent data on violence against LGBTQ people and the barriers LGBTQ people encounter in addressing that violence.
