I’m in awe, friend!

After we asked environmental champions like you to provide feedback to the California Natural Resources Agency (CNRA) about its 30x30 plan last month, this team submitted over 550 public comments!!!

California’s 30x30 goal to conserve 30% of our state lands and water by 2030 is absolutely critical to solving the climate crisis, protecting biodiversity, and uplifting historically marginalized communities.

I can’t even begin to tell you how thrilled I am that so many of you make your voice heard as California leaders put together their plan to achieve 30x30.

Now I want to tell you a little more about the work California Environmental Voters has been doing the past few weeks.

We have not only developed and led regional coalitions but also led regional and statewide steering committees. We also organized roundtable conversations with Natural Resources Secretary Wade Crowfoot and other CNRA leadership and stakeholders to ensure the 30x30 initiative is implemented equitably with a partnership and vision.

I was honored to serve as part of the leadership of the equity committee that ensured prioritization of investments in climate vulnerable communities where 30x30 provides California with an opportunity to address some of the historic and ongoing conservation practices that have led to the inequitable distribution of high-quality nature spaces.

Friend, your support allows us to build the regional power necessary to see our values and priorities represented in the state’s 30x30 blueprint. Will you chip in a few dollars to help us continue to push for a 30x30 plan that addresses climate and conservation boldly and equitably?

Thanks for your continued support.
