CSW parallel event: Indigenous Women of the Arctic: Climate Change Impacts and Solutions
As experts on their territories, Indigenous women from across the Arctic bring crucial knowledge and solutions to the climate crisis and are actively contributing to achieving the Paris Agreement, climate change mitigation, and a Just Transition. At the same time, they are on the frontlines experiencing impacts on their lands, livelihoods, ways of life, and directly on their bodies as climate change affects their health and reproductive systems.
