Policy Spotlight: One-On-One With HRSA Administrator Carole Johnson

On Monday, March 28, 2022, you are invited to join Health Affairs Editor-in-Chief Alan Weil for the next installment of our Policy Spotlight series, featuring Carole Johnson, the Administrator for the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), the agency inside the US Department of Health and Human Services responsible for providing equitable health care to people who are geographically isolated and economically or medically vulnerable.
Ms. Johnson joined HRSA in December 2021 from the White House COVID-19 Response Team. She previously served as Commissioner of the New Jersey Department of Human Services, was the public health lead on the Domestic Policy Council in the Obama White House, and served in several posts on Capitol Hill.

Earlier, she was policy director for the Alliance of Community Health Plans, program officer with the Pew Charitable Trusts health program, and senior government relations manager with the American Heart Association.
