Your support has always meant so much to me.

During the last couple of weeks we've thrown a lot of news at you, but your support hasn't faltered. This race is going to be one of the closest in the country and we can’t afford to fall short of any goal we set -- not with national Republicans keeping a close eye on our campaign.

I just wanted to take a moment to say: Thank you. Because of your generosity around our mid-month deadline, we're heading into the final weeks of the month in a good place fundraising-wise.

While we take a moment to celebrate our good news, we have to remain focused on our goals. The Republican Governors Association has already pledged to spend $3.5 million in ads across Kansas and to ensure we have the resources to fight back, we can't afford to fall behind.

John, this re-election campaign is only beginning. Our race will be one of the most competitive governor's races in the country, and it's going to stay that way until the very end. But I know this grassroots team has my back.
