We'll be honest, this latest climate report released by the U.N. is scary for us to read, too.

Per the report, over 40% of the world's population is "highly vulnerable" to our swiftly mounting climate crisis. That means entire ecosystems, species, and cities -- even nations -- could cease to exist.

But let us be clear: There is hope. We have time to take action to mitigate the worst of the damage. But it's up to us. Here in Washington state, we're proving progress really is possible.
