Friend --
A few days ago, Jay emailed you about three things:
- All that we accomplished this legislative session, including the Move Ahead Washington package (a once-in-a-generation investment in sustainable transportation infrastructure to tackle the climate crisis).
- A seriously frightening new U.N. report about how the dangers of climate change are mounting -- and how we're not moving quickly enough to stop them.
- The 500 grassroots donations we need before this week wraps to power this next, urgent stage of our climate work together.
Our fundraising freeze is over, and we frankly have no time to waste. Please, chip in $10 right now so we can hit this post-freeze fundraising goal.
If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately:
We'll be honest, this latest climate report released by the U.N. is scary for us to read, too.
Per the report, over 40% of the world's population is "highly vulnerable" to our swiftly mounting climate crisis. That means entire ecosystems, species, and cities -- even nations -- could cease to exist.
But let us be clear: There is hope. We have time to take action to mitigate the worst of the damage. But it's up to us. Here in Washington state, we're proving progress really is possible.
So, let's reach this fundraising goal to show the world that we're ready to sustain the progress here in Washington state. Will you chip in $10 right now to power our work?
Thanks so much for being a part of this team.
