Kim Rogers, DASS Executive Director here. I know it’s late, so I promise to keep this short and to the point.

A big part of my job is setting the budget on what it takes to win. We have monthly goals to keep us on track and in order to keep the pace, we need to hit our mid-month goal of $35,000 tonight. It’s the only way to compete with the far-right’s record-breaking fundraising. With just a few hours to go, I’m starting to worry we’ll fall short.

It might seem like a donation of $10, or $20 might not do much against the millions the far-right is raking in. But here’s the deal – when thousands of activists like you across the country chip in a little bit at a time, we build a grassroots movement far more powerful than one propped up by blank checks.

And the stakes are simply too high for failure – democracy itself is on the line this November. It’s going to take all of us to save it.
