Together We’ll Take Back America
Dear Friend,
Throughout February and March, I am traveling around the (expanding) 8th
congressional district and meeting with delegates and visiting with BPOU
conventions across northern Minnesota. While I am thankful for the genuine
welcomes and well wishes, I am also hearing how you – like me – are frustrated
and concerned with the direction our nation is headed. Sadly, we are seeing
what failed leadership in Washington looks like.
Don’t get me wrong – even in Her worst times – America is still the greatest
nation on Earth. Even in this nation’s lowest points, America is the land of
the free and home of the brave. But we must stop the socialist policies that
Joe Biden, Tim Walz, and Nancy Pelosi are peddling and stand up for our
conservative rights and values. Minnesotans agree it’s time to take back our
country, stand with our law enforcement, end the war on American energy, and
stop the spending madness that has led to skyrocketing inflation.
Ensuring Election Integrity Starts With You
For weeks, I have been talking with Minnesotans who are willing to roll up
their sleeves and do the work required to turn out the vote in November, but it
doesn’t end there. We must ensure we trust the elections here at home and
throughout our state. In Congress, I strongly opposed Pelosi’s attempt to
federalize elections by voting against their government takeover of elections
that would allow convicted felons to vote, weaken the security of our
elections, and give taxpayer dollars to political campaigns. I also led the
charge by signing an Amicus Brief to the U.S. Supreme Court calling to prohibit
secretaries of state like Steve Simon from changing election laws without the
consent of their state legislatures.
But it doesn’t end there. Did you know that in Minnesota, Republican election
judges are grossly outnumbered by on Election Night? That’s right, the amount
of volunteer Democrat election judges in Minnesota dwarfs their Republican
counterparts. That is why every week at BPOU conventions I am personally
recruiting volunteers to ensure election integrity this November. In fact, we
have signed up almost 200 volunteer election judges in just the past three
weeks! If you want more information, please e-mail me at

We Must Stop the War on American Energy
Working families, truckers, loggers, miners and manufacturers, and virtually
every worker from every industry in our part ofMinnesota is feeling the pain at
the pump from skyrocketing gas prices

.Meanwhile, as Biden continues to wage a war on American energy and relying on
Russia for oil, his administration arrogantly told Americans to buy electric
cars so the gas prices wouldn’t impact them. Think about it: Biden is for
Russian oil, even Iranian oil

, but shutting down Keystone – a supplier of domestic North American energy –
was one of the first things he did in office. The war on American energy

must stop and that starts with taking the gavel out of Pelosi’s hand.
We Love Our Fighter Wing!
As a husband whose wife served overseas with the Fighter Wing years ago in
Iraq, I am deeply grateful for the men and women who serve. This spring, more
than 300 airmen from the Minnesota Air National Guard’s 148th Fighter Wing will
deploy to the Middle East and Asia

.The deployment was previously scheduled and unrelated to the Russian invasion
of Ukraine. Our thoughts and prayers will be with our brave troops and their
families during their deployment.
