Parade Week is Back On!!!

The weather might have delayed Morristown's St. Patrick's Day Parade, but it's now back on and closer in terms of hours to the real St. Patrick's Day than ever before!

 

The Morristown St. Patrick's Day Parade will now be taking place this Saturday, March 19th at 12:00pm.  If you want to join the Morris County Democrats and march in this years parade, you can meet us behind the Morristown Town Hall at 10:30am on March 19th. 

 

You're also welcome to join us before the parade for breakfast at our newly decorated Morristown Office on 11 Washington Street.

Post-Parade Happy Hour with MCDC Women's Caucus!

 

After the Parade, join our Women's Caucus for their Post-Parade Happy Hour! The event will be right after the parade at 2:00pm at the Town Bar + Kitchen at 80 Elm Street, Morristown.

St. Patrick's Day with the Morris County Young Dems!

 

One date that hasn't been changed by the weather is Paddy's Day itself! On March 17th at 7:00pm, celebrate St. Patrick's Day with the Young Dems at the MCDC HQ at 11 Washington Street. 

 

Attendance is free, and a suggested donation of just $10 would be greatly appreciated to cover costs.

 

No one's too old to attend, you just need to be young at heart!

Celebrate Women's History Month!

 

Join the League of Women Voters on Sunday, March 20, at 1 PM, for a celebration of the achievements of groundbreaking Morris County women from business, sports, politics, science, the arts and nonprofits at a special event to recognize Women’s History Month.
 
With the theme of Women First!, this event features fearless women who have knocked down barriers, including Leslie Allen, among the first Black women tennis pros; Leslie Bensley, founder of Morris County Tourism; Chatham Borough Council President Irene Treloar; Donna Guariglia of USA Hockey (and president of LWV Morristown Area!); Dover Mayor Carolyn Blackman; entrepreneur and former J&J executive Donna Pepe; Morris County Surrogate Heather Darling; girls in STEM advocate Beth Krawczuk; Morristown Administrator Jillian Barrick; Morris County Clerk Ann Grossi; Cindy Flowers, Delta Arts & Letters; and Morristown High School junior Angie Machado.

Hosted by Amalia Duarte, Mendham Twp Committeewoman.

A performance by Dance Innovations with poet Ally Are round out the celebration!

This event is free and open to the public -- with no registration needed. (Guests may bring folding chairs.)
