My RINO opponent, Do-Nothing Daniel Webster recently patted himself on the back over Facebook and Twitter for collecting enough signatures to get on the ballot for the upcoming Republican primary.

Good for him . . . if it was real!

But, like most things with politicians, it’s all smoke and mirrors.

While my campaign volunteers and I have been going to every event that we can find to collect signatures and talk to voters face-to-face . . . what did Do-Nothing Dan do?

Well, he earned his nickname for a reason.

He had a company mail out four petitions per household with a mailer inside an envelope that included another return envelope with paid postage.

How do I know this, well I have a copy of one of his mailers with return postage on my kitchen table right now. I saved it, because as an investigative journalist, when I first saw this back in December, I had a funny feeling that Daniel Webster would try to claim he collected his petitions via grassroots support. This couldn’t be further from the truth.

That’s just not the way this is supposed to work. But when you’re backed by Kevin McCarthy’s Political Action Committee, you don’t really care about playing fair . . . and you really don’t care about talking to voters!

It’s important to me that I get a chance to look each voter in the eye and not just tell them who I am, but to listen to them and their concerns.

And the stories I’ve heard have me wanting to serve in Congress more than ever.

But, I need your help to get there.

I’m sure you’ve filled up your tank recently, so you have an idea of what our campaign is paying just in gas as we drive around the district getting our petitions signed and speaking to voters.

Coupled with ongoing shortages of paper products that we need for door hangers, signs and palm cards, thanks to Biden’s supply chain crisis, we’re having to pay more than expected.

If you’re able, would you help offset our costs and help me place early orders for our campaign materials so we don’t fall short?

I’m winning this election with boots on the ground – talking to voters – not hiding from them like my RINO opponent does.

When I qualify to be on the ballot via petition, I will actually be able to say that I spoke to every one of those 2,568 voters. Do-Nothing Dan won’t be able to say the same!
