Call to support Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson's confirmation

Indivisibles,

The Senate Judiciary Committee has officially announced that the nomination hearings for Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson will be held starting next Monday, March 21st -- read their tweet thread about the process.

This is great!

We are excited to know that the process is moving forward on a timely basis. Judge Jackson is eminently qualified and deserves swift and fair consideration. Now we need to ensure that she is confirmed without delay.

It is on us to support her historic nomination as loudly as possible, and that includes calling on both Democratic and Republican senators to vote yes to confirm her. Put pressure on your Republican senators to commit to confirm Judge Jackson by calling here or, if your senators are Democrats, encourage them to confirm as swiftly as possible here.

Our records say you’re in Washington D.C. so we have a special ask just for you. Join us as we support the National Women’s Law Center Action Fund, She will Rise, and the Black Women’s Roundtable in a rally for Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson’s historic nomination:

  • What: Rally in celebration of Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson!
  • When: Monday, March 21
  • Time: Gathering begins at 8:30 AM, program will run from 9-10 AM
  • Where: In front of the Supreme Court on First St. NE, between Maryland Ave. and East Capitol St.

Lastly, help us continue doing the work of fighting for a just, fair, and green democracy by donating here today.

Support Judge Jackson and help seat the first public defender, the first Black woman, and, most importantly, a supremely qualified candidate to the Supreme Court today! We have an opportunity to lock in a more representative judiciary for years to come; let’s make it happen.

In solidarity,
