John,
Your votes have been coming in all weekend, and we have a winner.
With nearly 57% of the vote, the question you want to ask the presidential candidates is:
"Families everywhere are facing the blessings and burdens of caregiving for loved ones who live longer, and have greater care needs and more chronic conditions than ever. How can we build a system that better distributes the physical and financial burdens of caregiving so the caregivers of today do not imperil their health and financial futures?"
I just used the form on NBC News's website to submit the question on behalf of Caring Across Generations' membership. Together, we can show that there is a groundswell of support for caregiving.
Will you take a moment to submit the question as well?
It's a simple process and should only take a minute. Here's how to do it:
1. Select the question text above and copy it.
2. Open the NBC News question submission page in a new window: [link removed]
3. Paste the question into the big box, and fill out your contact info below
4. Check the box to accept the terms of service
5. Click the "Submit" button
If all of us submit the question today, we will surely get NBC's attention. Even if they don't ask our question on Wednesday, they'll know that the Caring Majority is paying attention and that we expect presidential candidates to care about caregiving.
With care,
Beth Shipp
Managing Director
