It’s hard to believe, but we’re nearly a quarter of the way through the year, folks. I wanted to give you a brief update what we’ve been working on as we ramp up ahead of the midterm elections:
Last month, I introduced the Agricultural Right to Repair Act, critical legislation that will give farmers and producers the right to repair their own equipment.
Just a few weeks ago, Senator Kelly and I introduced the Transparency in Congress Resolution Act of 2022, which would require members of Congress to disclose their in-person and virtual meetings, publishing their schedules online. I was the first member of the Senate to publish my schedule for the public, and I’m looking forward to more of my colleagues following suit.
I'm also proud that our bipartisan bill to fund the federal government made it to President Biden's desk. This legislation makes crucial investments in rural health care, public land protection, educational services, and more.
And throughout the year, I’ve gotten to spend plenty of time back home — meeting with folks across Montana, listening to their concerns, and also seeing my bipartisan infrastructure bill in action as we make major investments in Montana airports.
It’s been a busy year, and as we look ahead to November, this work will only ramp up. I’m looking forward to continuing to fight for progress in the Senate, and helping elect more Democrats to protect our fragile majority. Anything you’re able to pitch in will help me do just that:

There’s one more less positive update, but it’s important. Senate Republicans’ campaign arm is raising record-breaking amounts of money to try to regain control of the majority. They’re going to pour everything they’ve got into winning in battleground states like Arizona, Georgia, and Nevada, and we’ve got to be ready to take them on.
That’s what I’m focused on — and I hope you are, too. Thanks for everything, and let’s keep up the fight.
— Jon
