Dear John,

We sent out this email a few days ago and I have a big update for you:

THE DEBT CLOCK TOUR IS ROLLING.

I wanted to make sure you didn’t miss this email about the national Debt Clock Tour. The Debt Clock is a huge counter mounted on the side of a moving truck that shows Canada’s national debt going up in real time. And we’re taking it right across the country.

See more about the debt clock tour by clicking this link: [link removed] ([link removed])

Stay tuned for more updates from the Debt Clock tour.

Dear John,

Canada’s debt is exploding and you need to warn your neighbours.

You know why this is urgent:
* Canada’s national debt is more than $1,000,000,000,000.
* The debt is going up by $391 million per day.
* Debt interest charges will be more than $24 billion this year.

Thousands of Canadian Taxpayers Federation supporters like you already know all of this. But do your neighbours know? Politicians keep telling voters that deficits don’t matter. And they’ll keep doing that until your neighbours know what you know.

Here’s the question: how are you going to show your neighbours the truth?

Let’s ask an expert.

“There were few better arguments at that time that carried the weight of that damned clock!”

That was former finance minister and prime minister Paul Martin. He tackled the deficit when it spiraled out of control three decades ago. And he was talking about the Canadian Taxpayers Federation Debt Clock.

NOW OUR NEW DEBT CLOCK IS READY TO ROLL.

Why a new Debt Clock? The old Debt Clock had 12 digits. It literally ran out of numbers when Prime Minister Justin Trudeau ran the debt over a trillion.

The new Debt Clock is a huge digital counter mounted on a truck that shows the trillion-dollar debt flying up in real time. The numbers are huge and they’re going up… so… fast. We’re going to take the Debt Clock across Canada and put it all over social media. Anyone who sees it will see the deficit differently forever.

Starting next week, the Debt Clock will go coast to coast. It’ll go through 33 communities. It will travel 8,800 km. We’re budgeting $3,196 just for gas.

To launch the National Debt Clock Tour, we’re looking for 295 supporters to cover the gas for 30 km each. That’s about $10. Could you cover 30 km? Please donate now on our secure website by clicking this link: [link removed] ([link removed])

Thank you for joining thousands of other supporters to take a stand against Canada’s exploding debt.
* Franco, Scott, Shannon and the whole CTF Team.

PS: The Debt Clock isn’t the only way to show your neighbours the debt is exploding – we have t-shirts! Just click this link: shop.taxpayer.com ([link removed])
