Humanity Forward is celebrating our two year anniversary this March!

We’re proud to say that our accomplishments reflect two years of hard work and results for the American people.

Within weeks of Humanity Forward's founding, the coronavirus went from a distant threat to a horrible reality in the United States. We were thrown into full pandemic response as a country, with large sections of the country in a lockdown-like status of isolation to limit the spread of the virus.

It was formidable to see our economy almost come to a full stop and the dramatic rise in unemployment claims. Humanity Forward shifted quickly to render direct cash relief to help everyday Americans find financial stability during these unprecedented times.

Then came our monumental shift towards working for the American people on Capitol Hill. Here’s what we’ve done:
✓ Through bipartisan efforts on Capitol Hill, Humanity Forward successfully lobbied for $600 stimulus checks In December 2020 for individual Americans.
✓ In March 2021, Humanity Forward continued lobbying to increase the next stimulus payment to $1400 for individual Americans as part of the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021.
✓ Humanity Forward also lobbied for the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 to include a refundable increase of the Child Tax Credit through monthly payments of $300 or $250 depending on the child’s age. This was something families in every part of the country could count on from July 2021 to December 2021.

Research on these recent direct cash policies already shows a significant decrease in child poverty and an overall stronger economy compared to the onset of the pandemic.

But this is just the start. Imagine how many more life changing policies can be enacted in the years to come if we keep it up.
