Every day should be equal pay day, yet in 2022, women must work an extra 74 days to make the same amount in a year as their male counterparts. For women of color, there is an even greater disparity.
This is unacceptable. Equal work deserves equal pay. If you agree, please add your name now → [[link removed]]ADD YOUR NAME [[link removed]]
I’m a proud original cosponsor of the Paycheck Fairness Act , which would give women significant protections against sex-based pay discrimination.
Gender discrimination affects women of all education levels, all income levels, and in all occupations. It’s not just a women’s issue, it’s a family issue. With a record number of women in the workforce, wage discrimination hurts the majority of American families, both in terms of their economic security today and their retirement security tomorrow.
On Equal Pay Day and each and every day, I hope you will join me in the fight to close the wage gap. Add your name now → [[link removed]]
It’s an honor to fight for you and equal pay.
Thank you,
Anna
