Team —
After negotiating in secret, backroom deals late into the night, both the House and Senate passed a $1.5 trillion federal funding bill that will inflict more harm on immigrant communities.
While Congressional Democrats celebrate some of the wins featured in the bill, they’re staying silent on the inclusion of increased funding for ICE and a return to the Trump-era spending level for CBP.
We’re not going to let them get away with avoiding public scrutiny for pouring billions into the deportation machine, but we need your help to fight back.
Rush $10 to our Deportation Defense Fund to help us do what our elected officials won’t: fight to invest in immigrant communities, defund ICE and CBP, and deliver protections for those living under the fear of detention and deportation.

We’re appalled to see Congress continue to fund these agencies that were created to criminalize, abuse, and inflict violence upon immigrant communities.
However, we refuse to stay silent and let this go unnoticed. United We Dream Action will make sure voters know exactly what their elected officials signed off on when they voted to increase funding for ICE — an agency rooted in violence against immigrants.
And that’s not all — our Deportation Defense team will be leading trainings to make sure immigrants know their rights regardless of citizenship status and to make sure allies know how to take action to stop deportations.
We’re using this opportunity to spur into action, and we could really use your support to keep up our work fighting to defend and protect our communities.
If you’re able, please chip in $10 or more to fuel our Deportation Defense work. We need to count on one another if we’re going to overcome the deportation machine and make our leaders work for us.
