I wanted to take a moment to check-in before time starts flying by over the holidays.
In less than 2 months, Minnesotans will start voting in the presidential primary. While DFLers will be focused on having constructive conversations about how to solve the most urgent problems facing Americans, Republicans will be focused on one thing: Flipping Minnesota red at all costs.
The Trump campaign has pledged to spend $30 million against us next year and every single race up and down the ballot will be affected. While we aren't going to meet them dollar for dollar we are going to out-organize them and build the biggest grassroots effort in Minnesota’s History.
With Thanksgiving coming up next Thursday, this week is a critical window for us. We need to raise $5,000 by Friday to stay on pace to finish the year on target. Will you step up to make a contribution that works for you today?
Democrats could win back Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin, and still fail to take back the White House if Trump successfully flips Minnesota from blue to red. His campaign is well aware, and they’re coming after us with everything they have.
Coming off big wins this year in Virginia, Kentucky, and Louisiana, it’s clear that our message is resonating. But with everything at stake for our state and our entire country, we can’t take anything for granted.
We must keep up the momentum so we can protect our Minnesota House DFL Majority, take back the Minnesota Senate, re-elect Senator Tina Smith, stop Trumpism, and keep Minnesota blue in 2020. Please, make a contribution that works for you by Friday so we can stay on track to finish 2019 strong.
