Did you know that active and retired Houston firefighters are working hard for our campaign? I’m grateful they and so many others in Houston find time to volunteer and urge voters to support me.
THIS CAMPAIGN MEANS ENOUGH TO FIREFIGHTERS that they make time during their off hours to make calls. Fighting to rebuild the fire department, our firefighters are keenly aware that when it comes to quality of life, local elections matter. They really matter. So we need YOU to to help voters shake off holiday distractions and get to the polls.
We've only got nine days until early voting begins (Nov. 27) and we NEED you to work alongside these firefighters making calls. These dedicated men and women run into burning buildings to save people and pets — now, I'm asking you to show up for them.
You and I have the chance to finally implement fair pay for the 4,000 men and women of HFD. This election is ours to win, but it's going to take a sacrifice of YOUR time these next three weeks. We need 50 of you to donate one to four hours of your time each week until Election Day.
You'll work in my campaign office, which is absolutely overflowing with energy and hope for change. We give you training, meals, drinks, t-shirts and good company. You can either sign up using one of the links in this email or show up at my campaign office located at 4101 Greenbriar, Suite 100, and speak to Trent or Kara.
YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BE A CITY OF HOUSTON RESIDENT TO VOLUNTEER. If you live in my former home of Friendswood, Texas or you just moved into the outskirts of Houston, I can still find a way for you to help!
So ask yourself, can the firefighters and I count on 50 of you to step up and commit to taking making calls? We've got to get voters mobilized and motivated to go to the polls one last time. Let's do it!!!
