BRIAN MARYOTT ENDORSES "KEEP NINE" AMENDMENT TO PREVENT SUPREME COURT EXPANSION
On Monday morning, Brian Maryott endorsed the "Keep Nine" Amendment, which states "The Supreme Court of the United States shall be composed of nine Justices." The organization's goal is to "Ensure the U.S. Supreme Court remains an independent guardian of our rights and freedoms for future generations."
"Preserving the independence of the Supreme Court cannot be overstated," stated Maryott, "If we expand the court, we run the risk that our judicial branch will be irrevocably politicized. I encourage all Congressmembers and candidates to endorse this amendment."
Brian Maryott is the Republican candidate running against Mike Levin in California's 49th Congressional District. To date, Mike Levin has not endorsed the amendment to prevent Supreme Court expansion.
