That was the day we were declared the winner of our first campaign for Senate in Arizona. What a day… I was filled with extraordinary gratitude for supporters like you and humbled by the enormity of the task ahead.

That’s the number of people who contributed to my first campaign. An amazing number. Almost all of it was people chipping in small amounts, and it had a huge impact on our ability to raise the kind of money we needed to win that race.

But now we have a new mission: re-election. And the same corporate special interest groups who tried to beat us last time are back. But I know that if we all do what we can to hold this seat, we’ll do what we did in the last campaign:

Win.

It’ll only happen if we’re all in this together, and that starts with reaching our goals before tonight’s mid-month fundraising drive ends. But I cannot do it alone.
