Hi John,
I've been so grateful to have you by my side over the last three years as I build a brighter future for New Mexico – and I'm counting on your support more than ever during this difficult moment. Let me explain:

Because of our legislative session, I wasn't able to fundraise from early December all the way up until last week. Losing three months of fundraising put me behind on my goals at the worst possible moment – right as I was entering my reelection year!

|
I set an emergency mid-month goal to raise $50,000 to make sure that my resources don't dry out: Will you donate $5 – or whatever you can spare before midnight – to show the GOP that New Mexico is NOT up for grabs?

Over the last three years, I'm so proud of the progress that our grassroots movement has made. With your support, I have:

- Put money back into the pockets of struggling families by overhauling tax laws, cutting taxes, and raising the minimum wage.
|
- Expanded opportunities for the next generation by signing a new law that makes higher education FREE for all New Mexico students.
|
- Legalized adult-use cannabis to take a step toward ending the war on drugs, which has disproportionately harmed communities of color.
|
|
Your grassroots support has helped our movement accomplish all of this and so much more, but the Republican Party is pushing harder than ever to wipe away all of our progress.

That's why I need to raise $50,000 before midnight to defend New Mexico from the GOP. Because of my fundraising blackout, there's a chance that my resources will dry out if I don't hit this goal tonight – so I'm really counting on you to give:
