Dedicated Team Tames Trachoma in Ethiopia

Dedicated health workers in the Amhara region of Ethiopia distribute
antibiotics and information to combat trachoma, a bacterial eye
disease. In spring 2021, each team visited an average of 49 households
a day, treating a total of 14.9 million people.

Transform Lives campaign painted beautiful murals and came up with
other creative ways to spread the word about the importance of
women's access to public information.
