Pete is running for president because America is running out of time. The crises we face -- from climate change and unaffordable health care to gun violence -- have been years in the making.

But politicians in Washington have seemed more interested in fighting with each other than in actually fighting to make our lives better.

But now Pete is offering a new approach with solutions big enough to meet this moment and unifying enough to actually get them done. He believes that if we can enlist the energies of every American, then we can build a better future.
