WE ACT is hosting our Earth Day 5K event this year, and we hope you can join us – either at the in-person event or virtually from anywhere in the country.

I hope you'll join us to celebrate Earth Day, help raise funds for WE ACT's work, and run or walk for a healthier, greener community. We will be holding this event in-person at 9AM on Randall’s Island, on Saturday May 1.The race will start at Icahn Stadium and end under the Hell Gate Bridge. WE ACT will have a table set up near the Randall’s Island Urban Farm where participants can interact with WE ACT staff and learn more about our programming. 

You can also participate virtually during the week of Earth Day, April 22nd through May 1st. Virtual race participants can run (or walk!) at their convenience at a location and time of their choosing. This exciting event is open to runners and walkers of all ages and experience, and will feature:
