RNC SUES PELOSI’S J6 INQUISITION
_Republicans allege that the Democrats are going well beyond the scope
of the investigation in order to target GOP donors._

Proving yet again that the purpose of the Democrats’ January 6
Committee Histrionic Inquisition is for gaining political advantages
and not a legitimate inquiry into the Capitol riot, the committee
subpoenaed Saleforce seeking access to the Republican National
Committee’s database.
The blatantly political move has resulted in the RNC raising a lawsuit
against the J6 Committee to block the subpoena. The RNC alleges that
the committee has engaged in an unlawful “seizing of confidential
information about the internal activities of the Republican Party and
millions of its supporters which is completely unrelated to the attack
on the Capitol.”
The J6 Committee’s subpoena seeks documents “that have no
connection to the attack on January 6, 2021,” RNC chief counsel
Justin Riemer contended in the 29-page lawsuit. “Without any
limitation to the events of January 6, the Salesforce Subpoena demands
production of sensitive and proprietary data over more than a
two-month period.”
Riemer also alleged that “Nancy Pelosi and the Committee have
weaponized Congress’ investigatory powers by issuing this
staggeringly broad subpoena which tramples on core First Amendment
rights of the RNC and millions of Americans.”
Salesforce is a software company hired by the RNC. The company has not
commented on the situation, and if the J6 Committee’s subpoena is
upheld, Saleforce will be required to turn over the data by March 16.
What House Speaker Pelosi and her J6 Committee are engaged in is a
witch hunt, combined with a political smear tactic to paint the whole
of the Republican Party as being involved in support of the J6 Capitol
riot. The notion is absurd on its face and it reminds us of the
Trump/Russia collusion hoax. But this is how the Democrat Party covers
for an agenda that is unpopular with the vast majority of the American
public — play politics in an effort to maintain its grip on power.
Furthermore, as veteran journalist Mollie Hemingway observes, the
Democrats are attempting to “criminalize Republicans fundraising”
by suggesting that any claim of a “rigged election” is equivalent
to engaging in election fraud. The reality is that Democrats are more
guilty of crying “rigged election” than are Republicans. “The
damage to the country and even the world caused by that false and
damaging stolen-election claim — which, again, was the result of a
plot, secretly funded by the DNC and the Clinton campaign — was far
greater than the one-day riot at the Capitol, or even the months-long
Democrat riots during 2020 that destroyed cities, businesses, homes,
monuments, and peace,” Hemingway notes. “Yet the Pelosi committee
is only investigating the January riot and not the countless other
riots that targeted Americans who are not members of Congress.”
Of course, even if Pelosi’s J6 Committee is prevented from following
through on its subpoena, that won’t stop this charade from
continuing, as this is the only way Democrats know how to play
politics.
